Loop 410 is the inner loop, a limited access roadway that circles the city. The area inside Loop 410 contains the oldest developed areas of San Antonio. The area south of Highway 90 is a bit smaller than the area to the north. In terms of home values, on a per lot basis, houses north of Highway 90 generally cost more than those south of Highway 90.
Here are some of the major facilities, cities, and points of interest inside Loop 410:
| Fort Sam Houston |

Public Transportation
San Antonio has an extensive bus system. However, there is no light rail, and some areas of the city are perceived, by some, to need more frequent public transportation options. The San Antonio International Airport is just a bit north of Loop 410.
